About Joshua

Hello! My name is Joshua, and I'm an enthusiastic English teacher passionate about helping students gain confidence and fluency in English. Originally from the United States, I've had the privilege of meeting and working with people from all over the world. My love for languages began during my travels and time spent living in hostels, where I connected with fellow travelers, expats, and locals. This exposure sparked my desire to help others improve their English skills and communicate more effectively.

With a natural ability to connect with people and a genuine love for teaching, I believe that the key to language learning is making it an enjoyable and engaging experience. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your advanced English skills, I am here to help you every step of the way. I focus on creating a comfortable, supportive, and interactive learning environment, where you can feel confident to practice and make mistakes without fear.

I specialize in conversational English, helping you to improve your speaking, listening, and comprehension skills through real-life scenarios and discussions. I also place a strong emphasis on building vocabulary and pronunciation, ensuring you can communicate clearly and naturally in any situation. My approach is student-centered, meaning I tailor each lesson to your personal needs and learning style, making sure you get the most out of our time together.

Whether you’re preparing for a job interview, working on your English for travel, or simply want to feel more confident speaking with native speakers, I can help you reach your goals. I believe that language learning should be fun and motivating, so I make sure our lessons are dynamic and engaging.

I also have a TEFL certification, which has equipped me with the knowledge and techniques to teach English effectively, and I continuously strive to improve my skills as an educator. I am excited to work with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I can adapt to your individual learning needs. If you're ready to embark on this language-learning journey, I am here to guide you with patience, encouragement, and practical strategies.

Let’s work together to improve your English and unlock your potential. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your language goals. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions – I’m happy to assist in any way I can.

I can’t wait to begin our lessons and see you progress!
