About Wen

Hi, I’m Andy! Before entering the field of international Chinese education, I worked as a psychotherapist focusing on adolescent mental health and second language acquisition. This unique background allows me to approach Chinese learning not just as a language, but also through a psychological lens, helping you break through barriers with ease and confidence.

With a Bachelor’s degree in International Chinese Education , I’m passionate about helping learners of all ages improve their Chinese skills. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your fluency, my courses are tailored to your pace and goals.

My experience includes teaching students, teenagers, and children, and I focus on making Chinese both fun and engaging. I believe that language learning should be exciting, not overwhelming!

If you want to improve your pronunciation, conversation skills, or have any psychological concerns, I’m here to help. I provide a safe, patient, and supportive learning environment.

Many people find Chinese difficult, but with the right approach, it can be incredibly enjoyable! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to boost your fluency, I’ll be with you every step of the way to build your confidence and make learning Chinese a breeze. Book a trial lesson now, and let’s embark on your Chinese learning journey together! I look forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

Hello everyone, dear friends! I'm Andy. Let me give you a quick introduction to my life and what I can offer you as your Chinese tutor. My learning approach is summed up by a phrase from my past English teacher: "The harder you work, the luckier you get." In other words, the more you do, the better you become. As a student still delving into the core knowledge of teaching, I’m excited to grow together with you in our collaboration. I firmly believe that teaching is a two-way street. Of course, I love music, and I used to be a psychological counselor, so you can always count on me to listen attentively. As for my hobbies, I enjoy exploring different cultures and games. If you’re up for discussing these, I’d be more than happy to engage with you.

I’ve been learning and using Chinese for nearly 20 years, and I’m here to answer any questions you might have about knowledge, culture, or personal matters. I usually personalize my tutoring based on each individual, but I believe speaking is the most important aspect, which is what I emphasize in my lessons.

As someone who loves learning languages, I believe I have some suggestions that might interest you. So, if you want to have fun discussions and engaging exercises while learning in a relaxed environment, come join me!
