About Catherine

Welcome! I'm thrilled to embark on this journey of language and cultural discovery with you. With over 7 years of dedicated experience in tutoring and a deep passion for sharing the richness of Chinese culture, I've tailored an immersive learning experience designed to not only enhance your language skills but also to bring the vibrant tapestry of Chinese tradition to life. As a certified primary school English teacher in China, I hold a Grade 2 Level A Mandarin proficiency, ensuring a solid foundation in both the nuances of the language and its accurate pronunciation.

My approach to teaching goes beyond traditional methods. By integrating engaging elements such as Chinese songs, poems, and stories, I aim to make each lesson not just educational but truly captivating. The inclusion of cultural practices like calligraphy and the melodious Pipa music offers a unique, holistic learning experience that celebrates the heart and soul of Chinese heritage.

Attention to detail is paramount in my teaching, and I extend this meticulousness to all aspects of my lessons, including spelling and grammar, to provide you with a professional and high-quality learning environment. I am here to guide you, inspire you, and support you in unlocking the full potential of your language learning journey.

Let's explore the beauty of the Chinese language and culture together, building not just skills, but lasting memories and a genuine appreciation for one of the world's oldest civilizations. Your journey to mastering Chinese starts here, and I'm excited to be part of your adventure.
