About Emily
My name is Emily, I am a Graduate from the University of Chichester where I studied Musical Theatre (Film Acting). In my three years my singing teacher became one of my favourite people, she helped me build my confidence. Fine tune my techniques and even helped me find my mix and belt voice (though I didn't much appreciate them at first!). My hope is to influence and build the confidence of those who love to sing in the way I was.

My teaching style is very relaxed, first sessions would be getting to know vocal ranges, how the attendee learns best so lessons can be as easy as possible, but also fun so that learning is engaging. Once we know the basics about each other (how I teach, how you learn) we would move onto building confidence, adding new songs to repertoire. Pushing the boundaries of where the vocal range is at the moment to develop the sound and range all together. Learning how to appreciate the sounds of head, chest and mixed voice when singing because all are powerful depending on where and how they are used. Looking at developing vocal colour and emotions so that it is conveyed not only through acting but singing itself. All in all it will be a fun, informative experience that will help build confidence and technique in singing.
