About Joanna
I teach because I want to demystify the violin for those who feel lost. It is simply about connecting the mind to the instrument through rigorous, clean technique. My BMus from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music provides the backbone for everything I share with my 367 students.
I guide absolute beginners and intermediate players alike, keeping things grounded and logical. Music has defined my existence since childhood, so I naturally lean toward a very disciplined study of classical repertoire. I integrate vibrato, scales, and sight reading into our time together. You can expect a calm process that prioritizes your musical growth.
