About Uma
I'm pretty sure that if you pick me as your tutor, you would not only be successful in achieving your grades but also remember a fun teacher for life. I believe in bonding and creating memories of learning and fun and not just teaching. I don't like to do a lot of teacher talk which is boring. Let's have fun together learning new things! Learning has to be engaging and so I will first get to know your interests and teach you accordingly.

To me, each student is special in their own way and if I teach according to your interest, you will be engaged and willing to learn.
My lessons will be only 10 mins of mini lesson and more student oriented with discussion, activities or worksheets/exercises to practice the concept.
I'm a kind and caring person who had students every year leave my classroom with great grades, hugs and some crying as well.
I've got a TESOL certification to teach English language learners as well. I'm well equipped to teach any grades/subjects from Kindergarten through Grade 5 as I've taught all these grades.

Perfect! Uma is an excellent tutor for both of my children, she teaches them math, spelling, writing and reading.. Great teacher, all around and all subjects and interests . She is impressive and had a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms.
