Teacher Eline is extremely dedicated and have a passion to teach. She cares about the individual progress of each of her students and adapt the class according to their needs.
Since the first class, she explained how complex the Mandarin language is and asked specific questions to determine my objective with the language. For me communication is really important, so our classes had a special emphasis in pronunciation and also learning how to write the characters.
After a few months of learning the language from the scratch, I decided to do the HSK1 exam. Teacher Eline encouraged me to do both HSK1 and HSK2 since they were both in the same day and she trusted I would be able to pass on the exams.
In the HSK1 which I were preparing for I only missed one question and had an excellent surprise in HSK2, since my grade was way above the minimum required to pass in the examination.
After some interruptions in my studies due to personal reasons, I resumed my classes, did the HSK3 and HSKK examinations.
Currently I am in New Zealand, where there is a great Chinese community, and many natives commended me for speaking the language and that my tones are correct and that my pronunciation is clear.
When they ask me where did I learn Mandarin I say: with a Brazilian teacher.
So I am very satisfied with the result of my classes, feel that the investment was worthy and surpassed my personal expectations. Recently, I resumed my classes with her, even with a time zone difference of 16 hours, and as a student, I am deeply satisfied.
