About Yzzy
I have played an instrument from when I was 7 years old. My first was the violin. Then switched to playing viola as my predominant instrument. I have played with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra when I was 16 years old as part of a collaboration with the junior orchestra I was a part of every Saturday. Toured Europe with my high school choir as the youngest member, and a part of the tour competed in an international school competition and sang in Notre Dame.

Have a passion for music and love being able to pass that on through teaching. Due to my range of instruments and exposure to many different techniques and genres, I come from a combined approach of teaching technique and learning how to play the instrument mixed with music is meant to be enjoyed and should be a fun experience, so it becomes a collaboration where students have choice and input into the songs and skills that they learn.
