I teach the foundation of the Quran, including the proper pronunciation of the Arabic letters, Harakat, and proper tajweed.

I've known her for years, she's my childhood friend. She's always been a pleasure to learn from. She started teaching last year officially, and after I started learning from her, Alhamdulilah my Quran recitation has improved immensely. She also teaches some supplementary duaas. For example, I learned this duaa of Musa AS, and now I say it during every sujood. And for those of you who are beginners, she is the one to go to as well! She makes it much easier to understand the letters of Arabic and learning the rules of the Quran becomes easy too. I thank Allah SWT that I have been given a chance to gain more knowledge and improve my reading through Khadiza.

Khadiza is an excellent and compassionate teacher of Quran recitation, and knowledgeable regarding fiqh and Quran. She has a kind and patient nature and is encouraging, as well as able to meet students at all different levels in their recitation journey, due to her familiarity with it. She also has beautiful and clear Arabic pronunciation Alhamdulillah. Never disrespectful, always with high expectations for her students, and thorough.

Khadiza has been my Quran and Islamic studies teacher for the past year and I always look forward to going to her class on Saturdays. My reading skills have improved immensely- I never thought that I would get this far but she made it so easy for me and my classmates Alhamdulillah.
