About Alok

Hello! I’m Alok, a software engineer and technology professional with 15+ years of industry experience in software development, mobile technologies, and AI.

I have hands-on experience building and launching 10+ mobile applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. My areas of expertise include Programming, Java, Android, Flutter, Mobile Application Development, Software Engineering, and AI/Generative AI.

As a teacher, I focus on making technical concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand. Rather than only teaching theory, I use real-world examples, live coding, practical exercises, and projects so that students understand how the concepts are actually used in professional software development.

My classes are suitable for college/university students, beginners, aspiring developers, and working professionals who want to learn programming or strengthen their technical skills.
Whether you are starting programming from scratch, preparing for interviews, learning Java or mobile development, or exploring AI, I will tailor the sessions according to your current level and learning goals.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach
I believe programming is best learned by understanding concepts and applying them through practical examples, rather than simply memorizing syntax. My goal is to help students build strong fundamentals and gradually become confident in solving real-world problems.

Teaching techniques and methods:
I explain concepts in simple language, starting with the fundamentals and gradually moving toward advanced topics. I use practical coding examples, live demonstrations, problem-solving exercises, and real-world use cases. I encourage students to write code themselves and learn through hands-on practice.

Usual structure of a class:
Each class generally starts with a quick review of the previous topic, followed by introduction and explanation of the new concept. We then work through practical examples together, followed by coding exercises and problem-solving. I also leave time for questions, discussion, and feedback.
My special features as a teacher:

I bring 15+ years of professional software engineering experience into my teaching. This allows me to explain not only how to write code, but also why certain approaches are used in real-world software development. I can connect programming fundamentals with modern technologies such as Java, mobile development, Flutter, Android, and AI/Generative AI. I also adapt the pace and teaching style according to each student's level and goals.
