About Isabella
Hi, I am Izzy! I am currently undertaking a degree at Durham in Geography, however, when I am not studying I enjoy hill walking, rowing, and painting.
Throughout my GCSE and A-level education I was taught by a wonderful teacher Called Mrs. B. She inspired me to aim for Durham as she did, and her teaching methods and approach helped me reach that goal and I would like to share this with others. In my early education in secondary I found some subjects incredibly difficult and this at times knocked my self-confidence, I want to be here to help those who are struggling to build both academic and personal confidence in the areas they are struggling with and make them proud of their own achievements.

My lessons are a combination of taught and student lead. For each lesson, I would have already prepared content and a full lesson based on off areas you are struggling in focusing on the AOs and exam questions and technique. However, these lessons do not have to be rigid and can be guided by any questions you may have or areas you have been particularly struggling with in class that week.
The typical length of a lesson is an hour and is altered to suit whatever level you are learning at, whether that be GCSE or A level. All lessons can be changed to help if you have any learning disabilities or if you benefit from things such as larger fonts, colored backgrounds, etc. Just let me know and I will get in contact to let you know the best ways we can work together to help you.
I am currently undertaking a degree at the University of Durham, ranked nationally the best in the UK for Geography as well as being renowned for academic excellence (and of course winning this year's university challenge ;)) I will encompass all the experience I have and qualifications across the board to deliver the best lessons possible.
