About Tamna
Why I Want to Teach
I love cooking and I enjoy sharing the flavours, traditions and warmth of Bangladeshi home cooking with others. Food is an important part of Bangladeshi culture, and many of our recipes and cooking techniques are passed down through families and generations.
I want to teach because I would love to share this knowledge with people who are interested in discovering authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. I also enjoy helping others learn new skills and become more confident in the kitchen.
My aim is to make Bangladeshi cooking approachable, enjoyable and easy to understand. I want my students to not only follow recipes, but also understand the spices, ingredients and techniques that create the unique flavours of Bangladeshi food.
Most importantly, I want my lessons to be enjoyable and give students the confidence to recreate delicious Bangladeshi dishes at home for themselves, their families and friends.

Learn Authentic Bangladeshi Home Cooking
Would you love to learn how to cook delicious, authentic Bangladeshi food at home?
I offer friendly and practical Bangladeshi cooking lessons for beginners and anyone who wants to explore the rich flavours and traditional cooking techniques of Bangladesh.
In my lessons, you can learn how to prepare a variety of delicious Bangladeshi dishes, including traditional curries, rice dishes, vegetables, fish, chicken and meat dishes, as well as flavourful side dishes.
I will teach you how to:
Use traditional Bangladeshi spices and ingredients Prepare and combine spices to create authentic flavours Cook traditional Bangladeshi dishes step-by-step Understand cooking techniques rather than simply following a recipe Adjust spice levels and flavours to suit your taste Prepare delicious home-style meals for yourself, family and friends Build confidence in the kitchen, even if you are a complete beginner
My lessons are relaxed, practical and tailored to your individual needs. You can choose the dishes you would like to learn, and I will guide you through each stage of the cooking process.
Whether you have Bangladeshi roots and want to reconnect with traditional food, you are interested in discovering Bangladeshi cuisine, or you simply love trying new foods, I would be happy to share my knowledge and passion for Bangladeshi cooking with you.
No previous cooking experience is required — just bring your enthusiasm for good food!
