About Dr Renuka
I am an MBBS doctor with fellowship and diploma training in diabetes care, working as a diabetes educator and lifestyle modification coach. I help patients manage diabetes, weight, and metabolic health through practical diet, activity, and habit changes.
Alongside healthcare, I teach beginner Swedish (A1–A2) focused on speaking and real-life communication. My Swedish classes are designed for professionals, nurses, and students planning to relocate to Sweden, helping them communicate confidently in daily life and healthcare settings.
My combined background allows me to support both medical understanding and communication skills, especially for healthcare workers preparing to work in Sweden. Sessions are interactive, practical, and tailored to individual goals.

My teaching is communication-based. I focus on helping students speak and understand Swedish in real-life situations rather than memorizing grammar rules. From the first class, students start speaking simple sentences and gradually build confidence.
I first train pronunciation (å, ä, ö, sj, tj sounds), then basic conversations such as introductions, workplace interaction, shopping, travel and healthcare communication. Grammar is introduced slowly only to support speaking.
Each class includes speaking practice, role-play and listening exercises. Students also send short daily voice recordings which I personally correct, helping them improve quickly and feel comfortable communicating after arriving in Sweden.
