Applying for your first job can be a daunting and difficult process. The world of recruitment has changed drastically in the last few years and has changed the way that we need to apply for jobs.
Lessons can cover the following:
- How to find a job that would suit you
- Where to look for jobs
- A review of your CV and how to adapt it for your ideal job
- How to write cover letters and how to best utilise them
- Mock interviews/interview advice
- Any other hints, tips, questions you may have about applying for jobs!
I have had hands-on experience from inside the recruitment process (CV screening, hosting interviews and assessment centres), I have helped clients apply for jobs, and have previously run CV clinics and mock interviews, to help prepare them for future applications.
Understandably, talking with me will not guarantee you a position but may help set you up, boost your confidence with applications, and give some guidance on how to navigate the job market.
