About Cathy
Nice to meet you, my name is Cathy! Vocal teaching is extremely rewarding for me as I see the growth in my students every week. A little about me is that I also started as a beginner who was not sure whether I'll ever get better, so I very much understand the effort and challenges you may face as well. But through my love and motivation for music, I am here today to help the next wave of vocal lovers! Just remember that everything comes with practice, and you can also achieve becoming a great singer with the right guidance. It is my aspiration to help my students explore their musicality and gain confidence - it is always inspiring when they let me know how much my contribution has pushed them forward :)

I specialise in teaching with proper vocal techniques which include: proper breathing, resonance placements, vowel placements, pitch accuracy, warm-up exercises, most importantly supporting healthy singing, and more! One lesson will typically be 45 minutes, however, this is flexible with communication as I was to tailor my support to each individual. I am great with teaching beginners who have a passion for singing but are not sure where to start. So no matter what age you are - children, teen, or adult - I am happy to begin on this journey with you :)
