About Liora
I am a passionate piano teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a pedagogy focus. My work centers on helping students develop strong technique while understanding the artistic depth of piano music.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes sight-reading fluency, careful score analysis, and thoughtful interpretation of classical repertoire. Students learn how to read music confidently and understand the musical structure behind every piece. This builds both independence and musical insight.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the student. I integrate music theory, music history, and technical finger exercises to strengthen overall musicianship. These elements support both technical control and expressive playing.
I also explore period performance practices when studying classical works. This helps students connect with the style and traditions of the composers.
Over the years, I have guided students from beginner to advanced levels, including professional classical pianists. Every student receives structured guidance and encouragement.
I believe piano study should be both disciplined and inspiring. Together we will explore the richness and artistry of piano literature.

My teaching approach emphasizes building both technique and musical insight at the piano. Expressive interpretation is developed through tone shaping, phrasing, and dynamic control. Technical exercises and careful score study support nuanced playing. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, whether exploring masterworks or refining performance skills.
I work closely with students who are developing their interpretive voice, including those using piano as therapy or creative reflection. Patience, guidance, and structured feedback help refine each performance.
