About Cierra
I am a professional and supportive math tutor committed to helping students build strong academic foundations, improve performance, and gain lasting confidence in their abilities. I specialize in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus, offering personalized instruction that is tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style.
With a degree in Finance and Accounting, I bring a strong background in mathematics, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving. I also have prior tutoring experience from high school, where I worked with students across a variety of subjects and developed the ability to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and effectively. As someone who has always excelled in math, I understand both the importance of mastering core concepts and the value of having a tutor who can make difficult material feel approachable.
Professionalism is very important to me. I aim to provide a reliable, respectful, and encouraging learning experience where students feel supported and families feel confident in the quality of instruction their child is receiving. I come prepared, communicate clearly, and focus on creating lessons that are both structured and adaptable. I also welcome students with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent learning needs, and I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels capable of succeeding.

With a background in Finance and Accounting, prior tutoring experience, and a history of academic success in math, I understand how to break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps.
