About Ivy
Hi there! My name is Christianah and I am a Native English speaker with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication.
I provide 1:1 online lessons that help newcomers, international students, and ELL/ESL learners improve their everyday English, workplace English, and writing confidence.

This is the perfect fit for newcomers, international students, and ESL learners who want to improve their speaking confidence, communication skills, writing, and overall comfort using English in real-life situations.
In the first session, I learn about the student’s goals, level, and main challenges. From there, I build lesson plans with practical goals that focus on practical speaking, writing support, grammar correction, vocabulary building, and steady confidence growth.
Each lesson is then built around what you need most, whether that is speaking more confidently, improving grammar and writing, or getting support with work or school English. After the initial session, following sessions includes a short review, focused practice, clear corrections, and a simple recap or homework task.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and structured. I aim to create a comfortable space where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve step by step with lessons are planned just for you.
