About Julian
"Mastering shifting positions and complex double stops is rarely a straight path. I admit that intonation remains a lifelong pursuit for every violinist regardless of their level.
Having taught 383 students over 13 years, I understand how to troubleshoot mechanical errors early. My Royal Academy of Music training informs every aspect of my pedagogical approach.
I prioritise spiccato and staccato bowing along with nuanced tone production. Vibrato is treated as a core skill rather than an ornamental addition. Whether you are working on classical repertoire or ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep, I keep the trajectory focused on your ultimate musical goals."
