About Sarah
I'm a friendly, intelligent, compassionate human with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught both secondary level and adults, in private and public institutions as well as individual tutoring.
I am currently training to be a linguist and thus have a strong knowledge of Australian English vocabulary and pronunciation, including phonetics and phonology (how you make the sounds using your mouth).

Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm a PhD student and a qualified secondary TESOL teacher in my late 30s. I am willing to help students aged 13 and above in one hour sessions.
I am offering simple, cheap conversation classes where I will explain vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation along the way as we converse.
Happy to converse and roleplay almost anything! Food and eating out, gaming, music, bar lingo, doctor's appointments, public transport, business speak, job interviews.... name a topic and we can talk about it!
I can also help with any homework you may have if you are a student. Potential for relevant homework exercises and vocabulary lists based on the conversation (at extra cost).
