About Matthew
I began music around the sixth grade, where I started as a percussionist in beginning band. From there, my love of music grew throughout high school, eventually inspiring me to pursue my music education degree. I attended Grand Valley State University, who gave me a comprehensive music education in aural skills, music theory, private lessons, and concert performances.
I continue to try to hone my musical skills with daily practice, and challenging myself to learn new instruments!

- My goal with these lessons is to give you the tools you need to become a self-sufficient musician
- Comfortable teaching lessons in voice/guitar/piano/percussion/music theory/fundamentals of most all instruments. If you're wondering, just ask!
