About Lula
I am Lula! I'm a producer, songwriter, and music artist named Lula Gold based in Manchester. I currently study Popular Music at the Royal Northern College of Music specialising in Vocals, and am on track for a 1st. I have released self-produced material onto streaming platforms that has achieved BBC radio attention and has a single that reached over 70k streams. I do everything myself from the production, recording, mixing, and engineering for all my works so I have some great experience up my sleeve! I've been producing since I was 15 and am now 21, looking to teach others that I had to self-teach myself when I first started this journey.

Depending on your experience we will go through genres you're keen on working in, what you're looking to achieve, and your goals as a producer. I teach all fields of experience from freshly-new producers to those just wanting some extra tricks and a leg-up. Lessons will be 30-60 minutes, this is for all ages. If you already produce we will look at your previous projects and how we can improve them. Talking about shortcuts to make producing quicker, how to mix, how to record, how your DAW works, and how to make what you hear in your head come to life. I will share tips and tricks that I use myself, we will break down my projects/releases to use as examples, and will spend time together, recreating your single of choice of an artist you look up to - this can really improve your ear and skills as a producer. Through time your ear will train to know what to listen for and your brain will know how to re-create the sounds you hear. Crossing the worlds of production, songwriting, and engineering. Note: You will need a laptop and have Logic Pro X installed! We can work with GarageBand if the task you want to achieve is simple enough.
