About Joe
Award-winning drummer Joe Taylor began his music career at the age of 8. Since then he has performed with some of the UK’s finest musicians at some of the most prestigious venues and festivals. In 2009 Joe attended the renowned Academy of Contemporary Music and was subsequently awarded the ‘Outstanding Drummer of the Year’ award.

About the lesson

Having taught both privately and at schools and colleges for many years I have developed systems that will help to accelerate your growth as a drummer and more importantly, as a musician.
I teach each student differently, adjusting to the individual learning styles and preferences. Many students have gone on to achieve the highest grades possible under my tutoring.
I tend to put a strong focus on the fundamentals of a strong time feel and fluid technique, which will allow more effective musical expression on the drums.
