About Cherish
Hi! I’m a student at University College London with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics. I achieved A* in Economics and Chinese, an A in Mathematics and Chemistry at A-Level, and I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging.
I previously worked as an Academic Mentor supporting GCSE students one-to-one. Through this experience, I learned that every student learns differently, and my approach is always patient, structured and supportive. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and focus on building understanding rather than memorisation.
I understand that exams can feel overwhelming, so I also help students with exam technique, time management and confidence under pressure. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel capable and motivated.
As a current university student, I relate well to younger learners and aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. I am organised, reliable and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
