About Xuanding
Hi! I’m a Singapore university student who enjoys helping others learn English in a fun and confidence-building way. I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language, so I always make my lessons encouraging, patient, and full of small achievements. I started teaching because I love seeing my students grow — from shy beginners who don’t know what to say, to confident readers and speakers who can express themselves freely. To me, teaching English is about helping students feel proud of what they can do.

Step-by-step approach to build strong English foundations (phonics → vocabulary → sentences → reading comprehension). Fun, interactive lessons using stories, songs, and pictures to make learning enjoyable. Focus on pronunciation, confidence in speaking, and understanding daily English. Personalized materials and activities based on each student’s age and level. Encourage active learning through games, storytelling, and role-play!!
Length of Lesson: 1 hour per class (can be extended to 1.5 hours depending on student’s learning needs), online.
Experience: Taught English to primary school students, including beginners from China who started with no English background.Helped students progress from reading single words to reading full storybooks independently.
