Student at ENS Cachan and graduate in Teaching Methodology of Russian as a foreign language gives Russian lessons in Paris and Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Galina was responsible for leading my conversations sessions in Russian for a year. Having not known her very long, she quickly grasped the individual levels of each of the students she was teaching and tailored exercises to ensure that each of us was getting the most out of our time with her. She set us clear goals for improvement and helped us at every step of the way to ensure that we acheived them. I feel personally that she contributed to much of my learning and understanding of the Russian language by helping us engage with key topics and teaching us about the contemperary issue that Russia faces, whilst still ensuring that our underlying Grammar and Vocabulary was where it needed to be.

In addition to our standard lessons with Galina, she also accompanied us on our trip to Russia. She integrated her strong teaching skills with astute knowledge of Russian history to ensure that we got much more value out of our trip than we would have otherwise. On top of this, she was kind, entertaining, and ever-sympathetic, which helped us feel comfortable in a place which was foreign to us.

Galina is an exceptional teacher and an exceptional person, and I was more than lucky to have been taught by her. She is a real blessing to anyone she works with, and anyone who she teaches.
