About Kimberly
I am a student at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Secondary Education, Language, Literature and Writing. Working with students is the highlight of my career. I have interned in a seventh grade class for a year, I have worked with 826Michigan teaching elementary aged students stronger reading and writing skills and have tutored high school students as a requirement for honors societies.

Being a non-traditional learner, I know that each student has a preferred method of instruction. It is important for me to find out what that method is, but to also introduce and familiarize the student with other ways of learning, too. As a teacher, my job is to teach the students to learn so that they can be successful on their own. I will teach the students using as many resources as I can find. I believe that if I can reiterate a point using multiple different platforms, the student will have better retention.
