About Arash
I'm Arash, a professional English educator with over six years of experience. My approach to teaching is deeply rooted in my passion for language as both an art and a science. As a published author of two books, I appreciate the creative nuances of poetry, while my academic interest in cognitive linguistics drives me to understand the "why" behind language acquisition. This unique perspective is the foundation of my success as an Intermediate Plateau Specialist. I don't just teach rules; I help you understand the underlying structures of English. Currently, I am learning programming as I prepare to pursue a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics in the UK. This blend of creative insight and analytical thinking allows me to offer a truly unique and effective learning experience, helping you build a logical and intuitive command of the English language.

With over 6 years of dedicated experience, my teaching method is diagnostic and personalized, designed to solve the specific challenges of the intermediate plateau. I move beyond standard textbooks, using my background as a published author and my knowledge of psycholinguistics to create lessons with authentic materials that build natural, real-world fluency.
A typical lesson begins with a deep analysis of a topic you find interesting. We focus on identifying and correcting "fossilized" errors in your grammar and vocabulary. We then practice applying more complex and nuanced language in a guided, challenging conversation. Every session concludes with a clear, actionable plan for your continued progress.
What sets me apart is a unique blend of credentials: I am a triple-certified (TEFL & dual TESOL) teacher, a published author of two books, and an experienced Teacher Trainer. This background has shaped my specialized approach as an Intermediate Plateau Specialist, allowing me to offer a level of expertise that goes beyond standard tutoring.
My lessons are designed for motivated adult learners, university students, and professionals at the B1-B2 level who feel "stuck" and are determined to achieve advanced, C1-level fluency.

I had 9 lessons with Arash in order to be prepared for the FCE B2 exam. We were focusing on speaking. Arash was very helpful in improving my fluency and confidence. Thanks to his guidance, I felt much more prepared for the exam…which I successfully passed !
