About Shashivardhan

Experienced Math tutor with a strong Computer Science background, specializing in simplifying complex concepts from elementary to advanced math. I focus on step-by-step teaching, building strong fundamentals, and boosting student confidence through clear explanations, structured practice, and personalized, patient guidance.

About the lesson

Math doesn’t have to feel confusing or overwhelming. My tutoring approach is designed to help students build strong foundations, truly understand concepts, and gain confidence in solving problems independently.

With a background in Computer Science Engineering (Bachelor’s and Master’s) and a strong passion for mathematics and teaching, I focus on making Math simple, logical, and approachable for every student.

Subjects Covered (Elementary to Grade 12 and Beyond)

I provide tutoring across all major school-level math topics, including:

Elementary Math (Grades 3–5): basics, arithmetic, fractions, decimals, word problems
Middle School Math: Pre-Algebra, ratios, percentages, integers, equations
High School Math: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus
Advanced Topics: Calculus (limits, derivatives, integrals), Statistics, Matrices, and foundational college-level math

My Teaching Approach

I don’t just help students solve problems—I help them understand why the solution works.

My method focuses on:

Breaking complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations
Building strong conceptual understanding instead of memorization
Using real-world examples to make abstract ideas easier to grasp
Identifying gaps in fundamentals and strengthening them first
Teaching problem-solving patterns so students can tackle any question confidently

What Students Can Expect
Clear and patient explanations at every step
Personalized learning based on the student’s level and pace
Regular practice problems to reinforce understanding
Confidence-building techniques to reduce math anxiety
Focus on long-term improvement, not just homework completion

Goal of My Tutoring

My goal is simple: to help students move from “I don’t get Math” to “I can solve this on my own.”
Whether a student is struggling with basics or aiming to excel in advanced topics, I ensure they develop clarity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills that last beyond the classroom.
