Hi, I'm Edmond — a passionate and patient Mathematics tutor dedicated to making math simpler, clearer, and more enjoyable for every student I work with.
My Teaching Method & Techniques
I believe that true understanding comes from clarity, not complexity. I focus on breaking down mathematical concepts into digestible steps, using real-life examples and intuitive explanations. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s unique learning style—whether they prefer visual aids, logical reasoning, or hands-on problem-solving.
I incorporate:
Conceptual teaching followed by practical application
Interactive questioning to ensure deep understanding
Step-by-step problem breakdowns
Regular feedback and progress checks
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each session with me follows a structured yet flexible approach:
Quick Recap – We begin by reviewing previous lessons to reinforce learning.
Clear Objectives – We set a clear goal for the day’s lesson.
Concept Explanation – I explain the topic with examples tailored to your current level.
Practice Problems – We solve problems together, then you try independently with my guidance.
Q&A and Review – We finish with clarification of any doubts and a short summary of what we’ve covered.
What Sets Me Apart
I focus not only on how to solve math problems but why the methods work, giving students lasting understanding and confidence.
I’m patient and approachable, creating a safe space for asking questions without fear.
I bring enthusiasm to every lesson—making math less intimidating and more engaging.
Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are ideal for:
High school students (GCSE, A-Level, etc.)
College/University students needing support in foundational or applied mathematics
Adult learners returning to education or preparing for standardized tests
Anyone who feels “stuck” or “lost” in math and wants to build confidence and skill
Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, or simply understand math better, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
