About Harun
I am a Stanford PhD student in computer science with a strong background in pure mathematics. I completed my undergraduate degree in mathematics with a focus on areas such as number theory and algebra, and I am also an International Mathematical Olympiad medalist. I enjoy helping students build intuition and confidence in problem solving. Outside of research and teaching, I ski race for the Stanford ski team and spend much of my free time in the mountains. I enjoy sports that go down mountains, especially skiing, but also mountain biking and cliff jumping. If you are reading this, there is a good chance I am currently skiing somewhere in Tahoe, the Rockies, or the Alps.

I offer personalized lessons in mathematics, algorithms, and problem solving for motivated students. I am currently a Stanford PhD student with an undergraduate degree in pure mathematics, including number theory, algebra, and related areas. My teaching focuses on building strong intuition, clear reasoning, and rigorous problem solving skills.
