About Elena
I am a lecturer at a London University and have been offering private tutor sessions over the past years to both University and high school students to help them study for exams and to understand concepts in multiple sport science disciplines. I am a qualified teacher and recognised by the Higher Education Academy. I have privately taught 10+ students over the past two years and they all achieved increases in their marks.

Depending on the topic I use a wide range of teaching methods, which are adjustable to the type of learner the student is. I think the understanding of fundamentals is key to make the understanding of more complex issues easier. I tend to use a lot of examples which show the application of concepts in sport, to show the real-world applicability. I found this typically increases the understanding of concepts and that students find it easier to recall information based on examples rather than just long list of bullet points.
