About Grace
I am Grace and I have a passion to help students who feel may be falling behind or need some extra support which they may not find within a classroom. I am patient and will do my best to explain maths tailored to your individual learning skills. I will ensure lessons are calm, relaxed and fun as GCSEs can be a stressful time and tutor support can help massively.

I believe that everyone can understand maths with the right support and clear explanations, and my aim is to help students feel confident, calm, and capable in their maths lessons. I teach in a friendly, step-by-step way, breaking topics down into small, simple parts so nothing feels overwhelming, and I focus on helping students understand why methods work rather than just memorising them. My lessons use live whiteboard teaching, clear worked examples, exam-style GCSE Foundation questions, guided practice where we solve problems together, and independent practice to build confidence, with regular recap and feedback throughout. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, with 45-minute sessions available for younger students and 90-minute sessions for exam preparation, and each lesson includes a recap, explanation of a new topic, practice, and helpful tips. I hold a GCSE Maths grade 5 and a Mathematics Diploma from Alison, and I specialise in supporting KS3 and GCSE Foundation students. My lessons are suitable for students aged 9–16 who need extra support, want to build confidence, or are aiming to pass GCSE maths, and I always tailor my teaching style and pace to suit each individual learner.
