Course setup
I have two years of teaching experience and my clients are parents of children with disabilities. I carry out assessment and evaluation on the type of special needs which is a way of identifying the problem. I design an individualized Education Plan (IEP) specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of a particular learner. As an itinerant specialist, I have taught 7 students with different special needs and the achievements recorded are motivating which propels me to do more. I monitor students performances, I utilize research verified strategies to teach reading, writing and mathematics. I counsel parents of children with disabilities on what to do and the appropriate placement option to choose.
