Playing folk music in local bars taught me more about language than any textbook ever could. I started teaching French because I noticed that musicians often struggle to express their creative vision in a second language. My degree from UdeM provides the grammar foundation, but my 7 years of gigging across the city give the context.
I help kids find their voices, immigrants settle into the culture, and professionals sharpen their business presentations. Interview preparation is a regular part of my week because I enjoy helping people land their dream roles. Reading comprehension and travel fluency remain top priorities for my hobbyist students.
I work with absolute beginners who want to move past the basics without feeling overwhelmed by complex rules. Having an native French perspective means I catch the nuances of accent and intonation that others miss. My approach is chill and encouraging since I know what it feels like to struggle in a new environment. Expect a relaxed environment where we laugh through the learning process.
