My name is Diane and I am a native Russian who has a diploma as an English teacher. But I don't want us to have just your usual lessons. I want you to learn how to survive if you suck but you're already in a place where you need to be able to talk to people. I want you to learn how to adapt, to use the resources and knowledge you have. I want you to lose the sense of helplessness and fear that eats you alive every time you forget a word. So, here is what we are going to do. Lets' chat about your favourite movies and TV series or anything else, no pressure! Learn how to be yourself even in a foreign language.
А теперь по-русски. Меня зовут Диана, я из России и, как ни странно, русский - мой родной язык. Я не хочу устраивать обычные уроки. Я хочу, чтобы вы научились выживать, адаптироваться, выкручиваться, когда вам уже нужно говорить по-английски, а получается ещё не очень хорошо. Я хочу, чтобы вы избавились отчувства страха и беспомощности, даже если вы вдруг забываете какое-то слово прямо во время разговора. Так что, давайте просто обсудим ваши любимые фильмы, сериалы или вообще что угодно. Научитесь быть собой даже на иностранном языке.
