About Sara
My name is Sara and I am from Spain, specifically from a small town very close to the wonderful city of Granada. I am passionate about teaching and continuous learning. Lover of travel and languages, I believe in the power of education to connect cultures and transform lives. I am motivated to awaken interest in reading and writing in my students, encouraging their creativity and critical thinking. I studied Modern Languages at the University of Granada. I studied my year abroad in Florence, where I learned a lot about Italian culture and the language. When I finished University I decided to start a new adventure in Liverpool, England, where I started working as a Spanish teacher. There, I learned a lot not only professionally but also in life. Later I decided to return to Spain and moved to San Sebastián, in the Basque Country, where I continued learning about being a better teacher while I was working for a Spanish school. I have recently decided to chase my dreams and create my own project as a Spanish teacher and work remote. This way I can combine my two passions at the same time, teaching Spanish and traveling.

My teaching method is based on Bloom's Taxonomy. I carefully divide class time into different sections to ensure that every last minute of class is taken advantage of. My method seeks to teach something grammatical or vocabulary at the beginning of class in order to this new knowledge is practiced orally by the students in class for as long as possible. I offer classes of 1 hour or an hour and a half, depending on the needs and interests of the students. I always provide my students with all the necessary material for classes. The only thing you have to bring is a good attitude and desire to learn :). I have experience in classes for adults of any age and for kids from 10 to 18 years old.
