About Sebastián
I have taught English and Spanish for more than 6 years in person and online, as a private tutor and also for small groups of any level. I studied to become an English-Spanish translator in Santiago de Chile, and I have an official certification as a professor of Spanish for foreigners at Rey Juan Carlos University in Granada, Spain.

¡Hola a todos! My name is Sebastián and I come from South Patagonia in Chile, the southern most place in the world. I’ve been teaching Spanish to non native speakers for more than 5 years. I'm a professional English-Spanish Translator and certified Teacher of ELE Spanish for foreigners by the Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain.
I personalize each of my lessons, making them both fun and interesting, mixing grammar, conversational and practical approaches, always focusing them on your needs and preferences. I’ve traveled, lived and taught in many countries around the world, so I’m able to teach a very neutral type of Spanish, which you can use anywhere you go (remember that there are more than 20 countries that speak Spanish as official language), or also teach you the specific Chilean dialect (which is considered one of the most difficult of all). I know very well the common difficulties you might find on the way to learn this beautiful language, so you can rest assure that I'll come up with the best way for us to overcome them together!
MY PROFESSIONAL LESSONS INCLUDE:
- Each lesson will be prepared and personalized based on your needs, and it'll be always fun!
- All the material used on my lessons will be provided right after it (so you don't have to write anything down).
- Homework will be set after every lesson (if the students wishes) and its correction will be made in between classes by me, so we can review and work on the mistakes together at the beginning of each upcoming class (the file with homework correction will also be sent).
- Notes are going to be taken by me on your own shared notepad on GoogleDocs so you can have access to it anytime.
- I'll always be available in between classes to help you with any doubt you might have.
