About Iris

My interest in Spanish began through fascination with travel, global communication, and cultural storytelling during my academic studies. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Studies followed by a Master’s Degree in Spanish Linguistics and Cultural Communication. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds to help them build fluency and confidence.

I believe language learning should feel practical, engaging, and accessible. My teaching style focuses on real-life conversation practice, structured explanation, and interactive learning methods that help students understand Spanish naturally. I encourage students to speak freely because confidence grows through practice and interaction.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, listening to Latin American music, and learning about cultural traditions. Staying connected to the language helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching Spanish is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate confidently. My goal is to support every learner in speaking Spanish naturally and comfortably.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students speak naturally through practical conversation practice, structured grammar support, and interactive learning activities. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary building, sentence formation, listening comprehension, reading skills, and fluency development in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how regular practice improves confidence and real communication ability over time. Every lesson is designed to feel simple, engaging, and encouraging.

Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, and basic sentence structures, while advanced learners work on fluent conversation, writing improvement, listening accuracy, and expressive communication. I include roleplays, storytelling exercises, guided discussions, and reading practice regularly because active participation strengthens understanding effectively. Students receive gentle correction that helps them improve without pressure or confusion.

I aim to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable speaking Spanish without fear of mistakes. Many learners struggle with hesitation, so I focus on gradual confidence building through practice and encouragement. Over time, students become more fluent, expressive, and confident. Spanish becomes easier when learners feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey.
