About Edgardo
Throughout my teaching journey, I have developed a profound appreciation for the intricacies of language learning and have honed the skills necessary to effectively communicate complex linguistic concepts. My extensive experience teaching Spanish to adults of all ages, combined with my background in phonology and linguistic principles, has allowed me to coach individuals on accent correction with remarkable success.
As a multilingual individual proficient in four languages, including English and Spanish, I possess a unique perspective on language acquisition that greatly enriches my teaching approach. My Colombian heritage and early acquisition of English as a second native language have provided me with an innate understanding of both languages, enabling me to bridge the gap between Spanish and English grammar, idioms, and nuances. This skill not only enhances my teaching but also fosters a deeper connection with my students, promoting a more comprehensive and effective learning experience.
