About Max
My name is Max and I'm a second-year Spanish and History student at the University of Edinburgh. I have a strong passion for the Spanish language, having studied it for the past 8 years, and will be going to Buenos Aires this summer to complete a year abroad, which will further improve my fluency! Having tutored a variety of ages, I'm passionate about the transformative power of languages and their importance in today's world. Encouraging growth is one of my greatest strengths, and my students do benefit with regards to confidence in using Spanish and their enjoyment of the subject.

I have been tutoring for over 3 years in a variety of subjects and at a range of levels. I'm now seeking to provide GCSE/National 5 or A-Level/Scottish Higher tutoring to students in Spanish. My lessons are very collaborative and encourage the student to think critically about the subject. We will target overall improvement over simply adhering to a mark scheme. Also, we will tackle all areas of the qualification, which includes speaking, listening, reading and writing. Typically we will use resources like "Schaum's" which will help the student's grasp of the language.
