About Eleanor
My name is Eleanor and I'm a Year 13 A-Level Spanish student. I achieved 9s in Spanish and German GCSE and am predicted an A* for A-Level Spanish. I am hoping to study Chinese at University. I have experience teaching as a Modern Foreign Languages Leader, through my school's Combined Cadet Force and through giving art lessons as part of my Gold DofE Award. All of these require me to be thorough, whilst making sure my students are engaged and having fun! Clear explanations and regular speaking practice form the fundamentals of my lessons as they are crucial to understanding the language and applying that understanding in a spontaneous and natural way. Given lockdown, I think it is especially important that students feel happy and comfortable in class and approaching exams and I would love to help students grow in confidence and fluency in either Spanish or German!
