About Lia
My name is Lia, I am a freelance artist and songwriter based in Leeds. Having recently graduated from Leeds Conservatoire, I have discovered a passion for collaborating and helping others further their ideas and refine their craft.
My credentials include:
- First class BA (Hons) Songwriting Degree from Leeds Conservatoire
- Grade 8 Distinction Rockschool Vocals
- Grade 5 Music Theory
- Grade 3 ABRSM Piano
Other experience
- Writing and producing within Production music companies
- Session vocal work
- Performing experience
- 5+ years experience using DAW Logic Pro
My aim as a tutor is to support and develop skills varying from lyric and melody writing to chord developments and arrangements. I want to encourage their passion for music and create an engaging experience, hopefully sparking a fire that keeps them inspired.
I very much want to adapt to you and what you wish to get out of the experience - every artist is different and individuality should be celebrated, so, do not hesitate to reach out!

I will work alongside you to help progress with your craft and teach you different techniques that will facilitate your creativity.
I offer songwriting and/or singing lessons, with the added option of the basics of production using Logic Pro.
Sessions can be 30 to 60 minutes and will be centred around the individuals interests and areas of concern. A comfortable and passionate environment is first and foremost, your needs and interests will be at the fore-front of any session.
