Zih-Yun is an incredibly talented, expressive, and patient teacher. I was taking lessons with her in NYC and she introduced several new techniques for playing through my challenging Chopin Scherzos that really helped me understand not only how to play the notes, but also why the notes and harmonies were written that way. I've played piano for almost 10 years and had several teachers and can undoubtedly say Zih-Yun was one of the best.
