About Palak
Hello there! I'm Palak, a tech enthusiast who’s all about exploring new ideas, solving real problems, and growing with great teams.
My journey began in India, where I completed my undergrad in Electrical Engineering. Then, I moved to the United States to pursue my Master's in Control Systems at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While I was there, I worked as a Tutor, and that’s where I discovered how much I enjoy helping others learn.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been deep into the world of software safety, especially in self-driving cars and EVs. I’ve worked on some amazing projects, earned a couple of patents along the way, and got to be part of shaping some exciting tech. I’m always up for learning something new and love working with teams that bring big ideas to life. Can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you.

- Automotive safety is a niche space with limited professionals who have worked in this space. This is also something not being taught today in courses in schools - I have 10+ years of experience in software safety for automotive companies including 4+ years working on self-driving cars - This course is for beginners who want to learn about software safety and begin a career in the space. - The main aim of the course will be to teach key concepts of software safety specifically aimed to crack entry-level interviews - Broadly we will cover topics like V-model, hazard and risk analysis, ASIL (automotive safety integrity level) rating determination, safety requirements specification, verification and validation methods.
