About Saša

I’m a Slovenian English teacher with a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a bachelor’s degree. I’ve lived and worked in other countries (Portugal and Spain), so I understand how it feels to communicate in another language and adapt to new cultures. This experience helps me be patient, encouraging, and realistic with my students.

In my background, I’ve worked in hospitality as a sommelier, head waiter, and staff manager in restaurants. This helped me build strong communication skills, the ability to listen carefully, and the confidence to speak clearly in English with people from all over the world. I bring that same calm, professional energy into my lessons.

I specialise in helping beginners and shy speakers gain confidence in English through calm, structured conversation lessons. I teach online from Bali, focusing on adults and teens who want a relaxed, supportive environment to practice speaking and improve step by step.

About the lesson

I teach English in a gentle, low-pressure way, especially for beginners and shy speakers who feel nervous about making mistakes. My lessons are conversation-focused, with simple explanations, clear examples, and lots of speaking practice. I focus on confidence, everyday vocabulary, and basic grammar you actually use in real life, so you can start communicating sooner.

All my lessons are online, usually 30 or 60 minutes per session, depending on what you prefer. I prepare short materials and simple exercises in advance, but class time is mainly interactive conversation tailored to your level and goals.

I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a bachelor’s degree, and I’m a fluent non-native English speaker myself. I’ve lived and worked in other countries (Portugal and Spain), so I understand how challenging and exciting it is to communicate in another language, and I use that experience to make lessons more patient and realistic.

My lessons are for:
- Adults and teens,
- Total beginners and low-intermediate learners,
- Students who feel shy or unsure about speaking,
- Anyone who wants calm, structured conversation practice from a relaxed, travel-friendly environment in Bali.

For the beginning, I keep my rate around 12 USD per hour, so we can build a comfortable, trusting learning space together.
