Super tutor

Nikolas is one of the best tutors in Basic computer skills. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Nikolas

I'm a professional web designer and search engine marketer with 5 years experience - two and a half with an agency and the rest as as a freelancer. I built my first website at home with no experience, sold SEO for a media company for 6 months, and was able to solidify a full time position with a marketing startup in Beverly Hills at age 26.

About the lesson

I take people through the way I build websites in Wordpress from start to finish and what tools I use. I like this method because there's a lot of value in personal experience. I'm more than happy to stop and answer questions throughout and tailor the lesson to the needs of the student or the group.

Lesson 1: Initial brainstorm
-purpose of your site, branding, target audience, competitive analysis
Lesson 2: Technical setup
-Picking a theme, domain name, and host provider, Installing your theme
Lesson 3: Child Themes
Lesson 4-6: Planning your site ("site architecture")
-Color schemes and Typography
-Layout design
Lesson 7-9: Building and publishing your site
Lesson 10: Promoting your site

Perfect! Nik has been a great help in making my dream website come true! He is organized, prepared, and punctual to every meeting we agree to. He is also very flexible in giving his time to my project. As a teacher, he actually sent me a syllabus to outline our sessions, but he is very responsive to questions and issues that arise, so he is not trying to push his syllabus without flexibility. He is a great teammate to have! I am so grateful to him! Thank you Nik!

I met Nicholas through Superprof. He had cool hair and looked smart. As a tutor he was really great. I know enough about photoshop to get really stuck. He was able to assess my skill level, identify problems, decipher my questions and step me through the solution .He is bright and chill. I felt like he really wanted to help me figure it out. I would definitely recommend him to other members.

Nik designed a website and scheduler for my mobile veterinary practice. I really love both the design of the site and ease of use. His Photoshop skills enhanced the look of the site. He has done SEO for the practice for 4 years. He also designed a custom survey/review system. He’s an excellent writer and teacher and I highly recommend him for teaching you the skills needed to do all of the above.

As I was searching through Superprof tutors, Nikolas' bio stood out from the rest. Not only did he have the skills and experience my company was looking for, but he was open to learning new tools if the project required it. Upon getting to know his teaching style, I was impressed with his ability to think on his feet, research new material, and display patience if I wasn't quite understanding the steps. Overall, he was an outstanding teacher.
