About Aminat

Hi there! My name is Aminat, and I am someone who genuinely enjoys mathematics, statistics, and everything related to numbers. For me, numbers aren’t just formulas they tell stories, solve problems, and open doors. More importantly, I love helping others understand them too.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve tutored a wide range of students from beginners to advanced learners and I’ve seen firsthand how frustrating these subjects can be when they aren’t taught clearly. That’s why I started tutoring: to simplify complex ideas and teach in a way that’s friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s unique pace and style.

I offer private, personalized tutoring in:

Primary school mathematics

Junior and Senior Secondary School (JSS/SSS)

JSCE and SSCE/WAEC preparation

JAMB/UTME mathematics and quantitative reasoning

BECE support

Adult education classes (basic numeracy, statistics, quantitative reasoning)

Whether you’re preparing for a major exam, need help catching up, or simply want to feel more confident with numbers, I will work with you step by step until everything clicks. I use real-life examples, open dialogue, and a supportive approach that helps you gain more than just grades—you gain understanding and belief in yourself.

Let’s turn fear into confidence, confusion into clarity, and math into something you actually enjoy!

About the lesson

I provide personalized, results-driven tutoring in Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, and Statistics for learners From Basic to advanced level. With over 6 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped students from primary and secondary school to adult learners develop strong foundational skills and excel in exams like JSCE, SSCE/WAEC, BECE, and JAMB.

My teaching style is warm, supportive, and completely tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. No pressure, no judgment just consistent, patient guidance that builds deep understanding and academic confidence. My goal is to help students go beyond memorization, and truly connect with what they’re learning.

My Teaching Methodology
Interactive & Engaging Lessons
I believe learning should be active—not passive. I involve students in solving problems, exploring concepts, and thinking out loud. Lessons are conversation-based, not lecture-style, ensuring students stay engaged and interested throughout.

Real-World Problem Solving
Mathematics and statistics are most powerful when applied. I focus on helping students solve real-life problems and apply logic in practical scenarios, which strengthens both understanding and retention.

Step-by-Step Guidance
No concept is too hard when broken down properly. I teach step by step, ensuring clarity at every stage before moving on. I also encourage questions and exploration, not just rote answers.

Exam Preparation with Strategy
From solving past questions to time management and smart techniques, I help students feel prepared and confident walking into any exam hall.

Progress Tracking & Feedback
I monitor each student’s progress carefully and give regular feedback to both students and (where relevant) parents or guardians. This ensures accountability, motivation, and steady growth.

With my lessons, you won’t just see better grades you will see a more confident, motivated learner who’s not afraid of numbers anymore.
