About Lexi
I’ve been tutoring math for over 4 years, and I hold a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science. I work closely with middle school students who need help developing algebra basics. Linear relationships, polynomial reasoning, and function patterns are topics I repeat often. I teach using a very clear, step-by-step approach. Many lessons begin with puzzles to spark curiosity and warm up the brain. I also bring algebra to life using examples from cooking, sports, and technology. Students learn that algebra shows up everywhere. I’ve supported students with dyslexia, ADHD, and processing challenges. I always slow down instruction when needed. I celebrate every improvement to reduce anxiety and build motivation. I believe algebra should feel like a challenge, not a threat. Watching students shift from nervous to confident makes my work meaningful. My goal is to make algebra friendly, engaging, and rewarding!
