About Lydie
With 9 years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching French to high school and college students. I have successfully guided 150–200 students in improving their language skills and academic results. Teaching French has allowed me to support students from different learning backgrounds.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, practice, and encouragement. I believe language learning should be simple and structured. I explain concepts clearly and provide regular practice to help students remember what they learn.
I personalise my lessons according to each student’s strengths and challenges. I help students improve grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. I also give regular feedback to help students track their progress.
A major achievement in my teaching journey is seeing students gain confidence and perform well in exams. Many students who were once unsure now feel comfortable using French. My aim is to make French learning effective and enjoyable.

Along with French language instruction, I also teach grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation and phonetics, reading and writing skills, conversational French, cultural studies, and exam-focused learning.
